I don't have a name for this set. I made it for a specific baby in mind, but it turns out that is doesn't match her nursery, so......... this set will probably go to Marine Corps Kids instead.
The blanket was woven from Araucania Knitting Fever in Ranco for the warp and Cascade Heathers 220 in Iris for the weft.
I love the way the colors play with each other in the weave.
The little cap was crocheted to match in the Araucania.

I really like the highs and lows of color.
Sorry this beautiful blankie doesn't go in the nursery you intended it for. Do blankets need to match nurseries? Now they tell me...all those years without knowing. lol
Whomever gets this, will be thrilled.

I love your weaving! Did you make your own loom or did you buy one from somewhere? I had a loom MANY MANY years ago that my stepdad made for me, but I didn't know what I was doing, and the "middle" part of my project was much skinnier than the rest - it looked like an hourglass! LOL You do such BEAUTIFUL work!
Thanks for all your nice comments, Mel!
I have an Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom. I wouldn't know how to begin to make a loom. It sure is fun to weave though!
