Georgena's Scarf

Today I finished the silk scarf I was working on. I just love the way the colors worked up with this yarn!!!

I went back to In a Yarn Basket to show Linda how her yarn worked up, and bought some amazing pink/purple chenille! Can't wait to start a new project with that!

Today's Yarn Purchase

I stopped by In a Yarn Basket this afternoon with the intention of buying some Mango Moon Recycled Silk. Instead, I got an amazing deal on another brand of Sari Silk yarn purchased from owner Linda's private stash! This is a recycled silk spun with worsted weight wool. I'm in love with the bright colors in this yarn, and can't wait to start weaving with it! I probably won't be able to start a project until Sunday, but I'm looking forward to working with this lovely fiber!!!

Sarah's Tallis

I finished weaving Sarah's Tallis. I just love the rich colors of this fabric.

I'm annoyed that I made a few mistakes, but I think the rich color helps to hide them. I hope Sarah is happy with the finished shawl!
